What we collect
You can use every converter on this site without creating an account or giving us any personal details. Conversions you run are processed and returned; they are not tied to you.
Search terms
We record which ingredients people search for that we do not yet cover, so we know what to add next. These records are the search term itself and nothing that identifies who typed it.
The contact form
This is the one place on the site where we do hold personal information, so it is worth being precise about it. If you send us a message we store the name and email address you give us, the subject and body of the message, and — to help us spot automated abuse — the IP address and browser user-agent the message arrived from.
We keep it so we can read your message and reply to it. It is stored in our own database, it is not sold, shared or passed to advertisers, and it is not used to build any profile of you or to send you marketing. We delete messages once they are dealt with and no longer useful.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful. This is aggregate traffic data, not individual tracking.
Advertising
This site may display advertising in future. If and when it does, third-party advertising partners may set cookies, and this policy will be updated to name them and explain your options before any advertising goes live.
Your rights
Browsing and converting on this site holds nothing personal about you, so for ordinary use there is nothing for us to hand over or delete.
If you have sent us a message through the contact form, you can ask us for a copy of what we hold or ask us to delete it, and we will. Send that request through the same form, from the address you used, so we can find the right message.
